About

I am an Art Therapist and Psychodynamic Organisational Therapist with experience working in private practice, institutional settings and in outdoor therapeutic services. I work in English, Spanish and Swedish.

Nature-based practice

I currently work as the Clinical Manager of the Venture Trust Outdoor Therapy Service. Previously I was the therapeutic lead on Venture Mor’s Wilderness Therapy Programmes for “at risk” young people on the West Coast of Scotland.

I am open to exploring working with clients in natural spaces in Edinburgh, in a walk-and-talk capacity. My training with Hayley Marshall and Anat Rafael strongly informs my outdoor practice and I feel there can be real value in taking therapy into these other-than-human spaces.

Private practice

In my art therapy private practice, I see children, adolescents and adult clients. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theory, adopting broadly humanistic and mentalisation-based techniques.

Institutional settings

I have worked in various primary and secondary schools, where I valued working closely with the children, young people and their families to offer multi-systems thinking. This includes working closely with interdisciplinary teams of teachers, inclusion staff, psychologists and other psychotherapists.

I have also been active in secure settings, such as prisons and young offender institutions. Most recently I co-facilitated a father’s group for inmates at a male prison.
